New Players must send a copy of your birth certificate and care card, as well as proof of residency.

Your registration will not be complete until this is provided as it is now mandatory by BCLA

Registration Fees are listed below which includes a $50 Fundraiser Fee per player (max. 2 per family) that can be earned back through the sale of raffle tickets. Female registration fee does not include fundraising fee.   For those applying for a funding assistance grant, please be sure to only request the Base Registration fee as that is all they will cover.  

Registration can be paid via E-Transfer or Paypal.   All information regarding E-transfer such as the email address and answer to your secret question will be on your registration confirmation email receipt.  Please read carefully.  Your child will not be considered registered until the association receives your payment in full.  

If you are applying for a funding assistance grant, select the SPONSORSHIP payment option.   Parents are responsible for the $50.00 fundraising fee, cost of shorts, A1 Try out fees as these fees are not covered by your sponsorship.

Please note that the fees for each Female division are base fees agreed upon by the 4 Victoria Associations.  However, the host association may ask for Fundraising fees, shorts fee etc. once teams are formed.

Female (only) information:   All of the Female Divisions are being hosted by one of the 4 Victoria associations.  Registration fees will be paid at time of registration and the registrar will transfer the funds to the hosting association.  The Female Division practices may be moved around between Victoria facilities so that no player must always travel.  If you have questions, please contact Dawn Ranns, VP Female Lacrosse at



 •Sibling discount is $25 (Regular price for oldest child, $25 off for each additional child).  This excludes female box players.  Therefore, the female league players must be registered separately from their siblings.

When registering more than one child online please ensure you select the “add another player” button on the right side of the screen. All discounts will be added at the end.  Please note, discounts do not apply to Female Box Lacrosse players as they will be transferred to the host association of that division. 

• Jersey deposit - $200.00 (post dated cheque to be given to Team Manager before jerseys are handed out).  You will receive two jerseys.  You will receive your cheque back once the jerseys are returned in good condition at the end of the season.  If jerseys are not returned or are damaged, your cheque will be cashed.  

• Late registration fee - additional $40 after March 31, 2023

 •N.S.F. cheque handling fee of $25.00


Every JDF Lacrosse player will need a pair of JDF team shorts. 

These shorts are part of the JDF Lacrosse Association’s uniform and will need to be purchased prior to the start of the season and worn at all league games.  The option to purchase shorts will be available on the online registration page and will be handed out by team managers once teams have been set.  Team shorts are $25.  If you are registering for Female Only Lacrosse shorts do not apply.

Please note, Sponsorship does not cover payment of shorts.  Please contact the Registrar for payment.



If you are a U13 (PeeWee), U15 (Bantam) or U17 (Midget) player and are interested in the "A1" Tryouts, check the tryout box when you register on line.  The cost is $50. Please indicate if the player is left- or right-handed.  Tryout dates and information will be posted on the JDF Lacrosse Website. This is only for A1, as A2 will be assessed with B and C. 

There is no Tryout fee for goalies trying out for A1.

Please note:  Tryout fees must be paid at time of registration; we will not be accepting Tryout fee or registration payment at any A1 Tryouts.



All players in U13 (PeeWee), U15 (Bantam) and U17 (Midget) who do not want to try out for an A1 team must be assessed for A2, B and C in their division.  These assessments will be of no charge. DO NOT CHECK the Tryout Box when you register on-line.  Please go to JDF Lacrosse website for assessment dates and information.

All players in the U11 (Novice) division will be assessed to form balanced teams.  These assessments will be of no charge as well.  DO NOT CHECK the Tryout Box when you sign up.  Please go to JDF Lacrosse website for assessment dates and information.

If you register after assessments are complete in your division, you will not be assessed but will be placed on a team that requires players.



Apart from U7 (Mini Tyke) and U9 (Tyke), the executive may implement a wait list prior to March 31 registration deadline to create even teams.

We encourage all players to register early to assist with accurate registration numbers for teams and to avoid being wait-listed.



JDF is offering a Referral Program to our returning players.  If you refer a new player or players to JDF Lacrosse and that player(s) plays the entire season then you will be refunded $25.00 per referral at the end of the season.   Please have your Referred player put your name in the Comments when they register On-line.  If you know a buddy or two, have them come out and play.  The more the merrier!



All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the JDF Registrar, Jean Gallagher at  A $25.00 processing fee will apply to all refunds.

 •Full refund less a $25 Admin fee prior to February 24th and have not attended any Assessments or Back to the Box sessions

•Full refund less BCLA fee (TBC, was $46 in 2022)  and a $25 Admin fee from February 25th to March 31 or if you have participated in any Tryouts, Assessments or Back to the Box sessions prior to February 24th.

•Refunds after March 31 only for medical/injury reasons. Must be accompanied by a doctor’s note and will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Executive.
