BC Hydro work affecting access to Eagle Ridge

BC Hydro is moving two Hydro poles in March 2023 which will make our facilities more safe and accessible. This project will affect parking and traffic at and around City Centre Park. The following is a summary of the expected impacts. Please give yourself extra time when attending facilities at City Centre Park during this time frame. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Mar 5-20 2023
- Single lane alternating traffic on Langford Parkway at the roundabout 24/7. CCP not accessible from the roundabout BUT IT IS accessible from business park East of Eagle Ridge Centre.
- Some parking stalls near the roundabout blocked off/inaccessible. Vehicle traffic not able to pass from Eagle Ridge Centre East parking lot to/from the main CCP lots on North side of Langford Lanes / Westhills Arena but pedestrian traffic is not impacted.
Mar 6-20 2023
- A strip about 40' wide from Goudy Field lower parking lot all the way to the roundabout will be closed with fencing - this includes a strip through the Goudy parking lot, the center of the gravel parking lot in front of Boulder House, food truck alley at the Stadium, and the center two rows of parking stalls in front of Langford Lanes / Westhills Arena, and the back row of stalls in front of ERC closest to Langford Parkway. Flaggers will be on site to allow traffic through the parking lots at CCP but the stalls will be fenced off.
Mar 10 - 20 2023
- Single lane alternating traffic on Langford parkway out front of Goudy Field (restored at night). Bus & foot traffic altered.
- Goudy lower parking lot partially closed. Work areas fenced off.
- Daily closures of Langford Parkway for 15min at approximately 6am from Westhills/Goudy Field to the roundabout by Eagle Ridge Centre.
