2024-2025 Field Lacrosse Registration - CLOSED
GENERAL INFORMATION
Registration is on a first come first served basis. Any Player registering after a division is capped will be waitlisted until numbers are reached to form another viable team. If we do not reach registration numbers that are high enough to sustain a team, the waitlisted players will be refunded and released. You will be notified by the registrar if you are waitlisted. Fees must be paid for a player to be considered registered.
WE ARE USING A NEW REGISTRATION SYSTEM. You will be required to upload a copy of your player's birth certificate and proof of residency before you will be able to register. This will not be required again if you are registering the same player for future seasons.
Tiering
Should there be enough players to form more than one team in each division, the U9 and U11 divisions will have two balanced teams, as per the Vancouver Island Field Lacrosse League constitution. All other divisions with two teams will be tiered.
U7 will be skills and drills with scrimmages.
Assessment Dates (for co-ed only)

In order to ensure a fair assessment, players should attend all sessions. If your player is unable to attend all assessment sessions, please contact registrar@jdflacrosse.com.

NOTE: All girls will register with their home association. It will be 7 on 7 format. All league games will be played on the Island. Contact VP for Female Lacrosse, Dawn.Ranns@jdflacrosse.com for more information.
Girls have the option to play under the Mixed league or the Female league.

PAYMENT METHOD
Payment can be made by E-Transfer or Funding assistance programs. We are diligently working hard to get the new registration system up and running and hope to be able to accept credit card payments shortly.
Offline credit card payments are accepted through PayPal. Please contact registrar@jdflacrosse.com to arrange payment using PayPal.
If you are applying for Langford SportAssist, please select JumpStart or KidSport as your method of payment and contact registrar@jdflacrosse.com.
JDF TEAM SHORTS
Every JDF Lacrosse player will need a pair of JDF Team shorts.
These shorts are part of the JDF Lacrosse Association’s uniform and will need to be purchased prior to the start of the season and worn at all league games. The option to purchase shorts will be available on the online registration page and will be handed out by team managers once teams have been set. Team shorts are $28.
Please note, Funding Assistance Programs do not cover payment of shorts. Please contact registrar@jdflacrosse.com to send payment.
Refund Policy
Full refund less $50 admin fee if the player hasn't stepped on the field prior to September 1, 2024.
Refund less $46 BCLA Insurance fee and $50 admin fee once a player has attended a practice/tryout session or between September 1, 2024 and September 20, 2024.
No refunds after September 20, 2024 unless it is a valid medical reason and accompanied by a doctor's note. Refund will be prorated as per Executive's discretion.
